Vaccinations
When to Schedule Your Vaccinations
Vaccinations play a crucial role in developing immunity against diseases without contracting the disease. They serve as a protective shield for travellers, preventing the contraction and development of diseases while on
the move.
Vaccination requirements may vary across countries. We strongly advise consulting with a healthcare professional at least 4 to 6 weeks before your departure for personalised advice on required travel vaccinations and immunisations.

Influenza
Influenza, commonly known as the flu, can significantly impact your travel experience. The flu vaccination is recommended annually or twice per year as the circulating flu viruses are changing and the body’s immunity to the flu virus may decrease over time.
Hepatitis A
Hepatitis A can cause mild to severe illness. The virus spreads when an uninfected (and unvaccinated) person consumes contaminated food or water. This vaccination is recommended for travellers going to countries where Hepatitis A is common.
Hepatitis B
Hepatitis B is a potentially life-threatening liver infection transmitted through blood, blood product transfusion, and sharing of bodily fluids. It is recommended for those travelling to Asia, South and Central America, or Africa. An antibody test is advised before vaccination.
Twinrix
Twinrix is a combined Hepatitis A and B vaccine, offering a convenient alternative for individuals lacking immunity to both. It involves three doses, with the second and third administered 1 and 6 months
after the initial dose.
Shingles
Shingles, caused by the Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV), is the same virus responsible for chickenpox. Dormant in the body, it may lead to shingles later in life. Recommended for adults aged 50 or older to enhance immunity.
Gardasil 9 HPV
(For Boys)
HPV stands for Human Papillomavirus, a common virus that can infect many body parts in both males and females. The vaccine is recommended for individuals aged 9-26, given in two doses 6-12 months apart.
